Visual editor
Direct manipulation over the same section documents the AI writes.
Sections and blocks
A page is an ordered list of sections. A section has a type, its settings and — for repeatable content like slides, columns or FAQ entries — a list of blocks.
Every section type declares its own settings schema, and the properties panel is rendered from that schema. Adding a capability to a section makes it available to the editor and to the AI at the same time.
SectionDoc = { version: 1, sections: Section[] }Working in the canvas
Select a section in the canvas to edit it, reorder sections by dragging, hide a section without deleting it, and duplicate a section to try a variation.
- Field types include text, rich text, images, video, colours, ranges, selects and product or collection pickers.
- Products and collections are referenced by handle, so a page stays portable between stores and templates.
- Unknown or unsupported sections render as a labelled placeholder in the editor and are skipped on the live storefront.
Saving and publishing
Saving creates a new version rather than overwriting the current one. The editor tracks unsaved changes and offers discard or save; publishing promotes the current draft to live.
